Torcross holiday apartment is available for weekly bookings only during school holidays and between May and October. At other times we can let the apartment for weekends – Friday till Monday or Monday till Friday.
The apartment has an open plan kitchen, living and dining area and large patio doors leading out from this area onto a massive balcony with uninterrupted views from Dartmouth to the light house at Start point. On the other side of the apartment there are lovely rural views of Slapton ley with hills behind where the sun sets.
The apartment sleeps four in two en-suite bedrooms – one twin room and one king size bedroom. The King size over looks the sea and the twin room overlooks the lake.
The apartment is a comfortable and spacious, it incorporates a large balcony taking advantage of an uninterrupted 180 degree view, you can see to the West Start Point Lighthouse and to the east, the mouth of the river Dart. The apartment is situated in Torcross which built at the end of the famous Slapton Line, the line is a strip of land surrounded by water. Slapton Ley (lake) runs along one side with the sea and a 4 mile beach on the other. Slapton Ley is the largest fresh water lake in the South West of England. Every window in the apartment offers spectacular views of either the sea or the Lake. Slapton Ley is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and was declared a National Nature Reserve (NNR) in 1993. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and is popular for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts.
The apartment is situated above a cafe/restaurant called The Torcross Boathouse. There is no smoking permitted in the house. £40 per dog per week. All linen is provided and beds are made ready.
